She reside in New York City. Chando started her acting career while attending Manhattan College. Chando was the first Maddie Coleman of the television soap opera As World Changes. She played this role between 2005 and 2007, and again for a few months, after the show's end in 2009. Alexandra's acting debut was in her debut on the TV series House Blend in which she was Jenna Harper. As the World Turns, a CBS-aired American soap opera, ran for three seasons. Alexandra played Maddie Coleman. Chando starred in American documentaries True life and Sherri in 2009; she was also a part of the Maddie Coleman character in the series As the World turns. In addition, Chando starred in two episodes of Glory Daze in the role of Annabelle. Her other television credits include Castle, Hindsight Dead People, and Outcast.
