Scarlett Johansson, American actress (born on the 22nd of November 1985 New York City New York) is a star who has been praised for her performance abilities in a variety of various genres from historical dramas, thrillers and action-packed films. Johansson was born in New York City, and was raised there by her architect father and producer mother. She and her twin brother Hunter were one of the youngest four siblings. She developed an interest for acting at an early age auditioning for commercials by the age of seven. She joined the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute shortly following and then attended at the Professional Children's School, Manhattan to continue her training. In the Off-Broadway play Sophistry she starred alongside Ethan Hawke at age 8, and in North, directed by Rob Reiner in 1994 she made her debut in film. Johansson then appeared on screen in Just Cause, but she gained recognition with Manny & Lo, a film about orphaned siblings who escape. The film received critical acclaim for her role as a teenager who has suffered an unforgiving accident within The Horse Whisperer (1998) and she gained further attention as the unpopular teen Rebecca in Ghost World (2001). Her fame was due to her role on Nell Jones, the CBS famous program NCIS Los Angeles. She's among the major characters. Additionally, she's a stage actress. She is known for her exceptional performances in such plays as Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith began her journey into the entertainment industry from a young age. She was as a youngster fascinated by performing. Through the guidance from her parents, Smith found her first acting gig at the age of six. For a commercial for a TV show Smith starred as Dannon Yogurt. Similar to many young actresses she decided to explore her talent in the theatre. As she was making her stage debut with Wildflower she also worked in various projects throughout the USA. Her education was in the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
